CYO Pollinator Container Garden  Friday, May 1st 6PM $45 per person
Create your own native plant pollinator container garden with an expert from Possibility Place Nursery! During the workshop, there will be a short presentation and demonstration on how and why to plant native plants. Fee includes container, dirt, and 3-4 locally sourced native plants of your choosing. Perfect activity to do with or for Mom! Space is limited. Must pay fee in advance to reserve your spot: 815-744-3800

After Hours Event: Movie Night Featuring Doug Tallamy's film "What's The Rush"  Friday, May 8th 6PM

Join us for a special video presentation from Doug Tallamy of Homegrown National Park, where you'll learn: How biodiversity is declining, and what you can do to help, simple effective ways to create habitat and support wildlife.  The personal rewards of bringing nature back hom.  After the 45 min video, stick around for Q & A to get your native planting questions answered.  Plus, we'll have free resources to help you take action right away.  Light snacks & Beverages will be provided. WBU Native Plant Sale - May 16th 10AM-3PM

Join us for a Native Plant sale at WBU Joliet! Plants will be provided by Possibility Place Nursery.  Proceeds from the sale will go to The Nature Foundation of Will County. The Forest Preserve District of WIll County will be on-site selling T-shirt merch.  Plant Species Lists will be available soon!

In-Store Presentation: All About Hummingbirds 11AM

Join us for an in-store presentation "All About Hummingbirds".  Learn interesting facts about these tiny miricles including how they migrate, breed, and forage for food.  A bird feeding expert will help you understand how you can make a backyard habitat that welcomes hummingbirds this spring and summer.  All are welcome to join this FREE presentation. 2026 Be a Trailblazer Challenge

Join the "Be a Trailblazer" digital scavenger hunt that will have you adventuring to and through the Will County preservbes at your own pace and on your own schedule throughout 2025.  Get started by downloading the Goosechase app to your smartphone and joining the "Be a Trailblazer" experience.  Once your in, visit the preserves to complete the dozens of challenges that will have you snapping pics in nature and checking in at various spots in the preserves.  More than $10,000 in prizes will be up for grabs, so start today- don't delay! Missions will be reasleased for Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.  For more info click HERE!
