Join us for an August Bird Outing in a local preserve! Meet us in the parking circle at 9:00AM. We will be on the lookout for resident birds and summer visitors. Animal Quest Meet & Greet, Saturday August 15th 11Am-1PM
Come by and learn baout and enjoy the wonderful animals from Animal Quest. This unique opportunity gives you an up close encounter with some unique animals. St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines Cat & Kitten Adoption Event, Saturday August 29th 11AM-3PM
Looking for a new best friend? Come by and consider adopting a feline friend from St. Sophia's Cat and Kitten Adoption Event at WBU Joliet! St. Sophia's is a non-profit foster based resuce that strives to be the best in temporary car for cats in transition. Their hope is a forever home for every adoptable cat. Yes! They will have kittens on site also. Get pre-approved by starting the adoption application HERE!

2026 Be a Trailblazer Challenge
Join the "Be a Trailblazer" digital scavenger hunt that will have you adventuring to and through the Will County preservbes at your own pace and on your own schedule throughout 2025. Get started by downloading the Goosechase app to your smartphone and joining the "Be a Trailblazer" experience. Once your in, visit the preserves to complete the dozens of challenges that will have you snapping pics in nature and checking in at various spots in the preserves. More than $10,000 in prizes will be up for grabs, so start today- don't delay! Missions will be reasleased for Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. For more info click HERE!
